All bungalows share an equal and unforgettable view of the Malacca straight meeting the Indian Ocean, where sunrises are famous for their intense colors. All rooms have kingsize bed. Extra bed can be arranged upon request. The bungalows and their terraces are built and furnished with either local wood or local grown and produced Rotan. Bathrooms make varies from Javanese sandstone to modern Asian tiling, some have bathtub and others showers. Toilets are “the western style”. All bathrooms provide hot water.
The rooms are served with a rack or cupboard, a table and a chair/bench, a fridge, a mosquito net and a ceiling fan, on the terrace a hammock, chair and small table. Some of the tables and benches are made of a very unique Indonesian wood called “Asam Belanda” which tree was planted in Sabang by the Dutchs (here the name meaning Dutch Sour) and fell during a heavy rainy and particularly windy monsoon season day. The views are breathtaking, with the beach right in front of every bungalow and just below the luxury section. One of the bungalows has been built on the back of the restaurant so to accommodate those sensitive to the, at times loud, sound of the waves. Its scenario is nevertheless precious, the view of blue see has not been compromised.
